- Ed established the “Woods Wine – Backyard Vineyard Consulting” business
because he knows that there are many people in the Northeastern US who would enjoy a Backyard Vineyard, if only they
had the knowledge and confidence to install one.
- Ed has maintained his own backyard vineyard since 2000, and is enthusiastic about sharing his experience and knowledge. Through trial and error, Ed identified grape cultivars that perform extremely well in the cold climate area where his backyard vineyard is located.
- His 100 vine vineyard has since provided family and friends a rustic venue for many happy gatherings where they harvest, press, enjoy delicious home grown wines, and just walk through the vineyard being amazed by the development of the vines and the grapes. He assures us that having a Backyard Vineyard
and Home Winery is extremely pleasurable and rewarding.
